The Silver Backs Futbol Club (SBFC) was founded by Ken Horvath in 1997 and has grown rapidly over the last few years. Originally starting out as an indoor team at Folsom's Soccer Park, the club currently consists of 10 teams playing in various indoor and outdoor venues throughout the San Deigo county. The club is comprised of both mens, womens and coed teams competing at various different levels.

The Silverback Football Club (SBFC) is celebrating their 10 year anniversary. As the largest adult soccer club in San Diego, SBFC is looking to continue their growth and importance in the San Diego sporting community.
